Canbus vs. Non-Canbus Indicators – What’s the Difference?

Our indicators come in two versions: Canbus Compatible and Non-Canbus Compatible. The only difference is that the Canbus version includes load equalizers to prevent a dashboard error light (which signals a bulb outage). The indicators themselves are identical in performance and appearance.

If your rear lights and headlight are standard and you’re only upgrading the front indicators, you likely won’t experience any issues with the non-Canbus version. However, some vehicles may display a red dash light indicating a fault. If this doesn’t bother you, the Canbus version is unnecessary.
